A great percussionist, he is ranked among the five master drummers of the West-Africa. Daouda Dembélé called Labouzou starts playing music with his big brothers of Super Biton, Papa Gaoussou Diarra and Aboubacar Kissa. Labouzou is today the owner of percussions school in Ségou where he personally teaches to the new generation. He is also a specialist in making percussion and sells instruments to professionals. “Môbaso” is his first recorded album and his name is a reference to the most popular dancing bar in Segou where he used to play. The tracks of the album are based on the traditional bambara music.
